ABOUT US

NEW-history-new

Capre Art studio was founded in 1967 by Viv Farrow as a home studio focusing on commercial artistry and design. Working in the industrial area of Peakhurst allowed Capre to develop a sound clientele base implementing innovation and developing new ventures in graphic design.

In 1971 Capre moved to a new premises in Hurstville acquiring contracts from major firms for the design of commercial packaging and specialty jobs. This defined its image as a competitor in the industry for production and design of graphic arts.

Capre worked closely with Jubliee Poker Machines and other major gaming manufacturers to design and produce printed panels for their gaming machines. Relocating from Hurstville to a factory in Ramsgate enabled Capre to expand both in graphic design and screen printing. Along the way developing mirror etching which enhanced the multicolour designs for panels that were used in poker machines. This unique process resulted in escalated sales for Capre as well as winning many national print awards for innovation.

Capre has worked for all major gaming manufacturer throughout Australia and today continues to be the leader of graphic panels for gaming manufacturers.

In 2007 my son Damian Farrow and I formed a company called Sunkist Graphics, this was for specialising in Large Format Printing, Banners, Signage, Labels and Braille Flat Bed Printing.

Today Capre and Sunkist Graphics are operating at our modern factory facility in Miranda.
